The school
In 1993, a group of language teachers opened The Language Club in the small neighborhood of Lagoa, with the goal of using a communicative and humanist methodology to teach foreign languages. In a friendly and supportive environment, this school has flourished, and many students have studied with us, gaining fluency in Portuguese.
We adopt a communicative and dynamic methodology, with courses that include the integration of skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing), using the foreign language in real and everyday situations. The methodology emphasizes oral (speech) development.
The sequencing of course levels follows the parameters of the Common European Framework of Reference for Language Teaching (CEFR), a set of descriptors adopted in Europe and in several other continents for the standardization of criteria that define the student's linguistic level.
We value clear and collaborative communication with our students and through the use of quality tools, we monitor student progress and engagement in the learning process.
